Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 8, 2026
Anywhere Studio ("we", "us", or "our") operates the DebloatX mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
During onboarding and use of the App, you may provide:
- Profile information: Name, gender, and age range
- Health preferences: Facial concerns, water intake habits, dietary habits, sleep hours, stress level, and wellness goals
- Photos: Selfies for face analysis and food photos for nutritional analysis
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Scan history, scores, and feature interactions
- Analytics: Screen views and general app usage patterns via Firebase Analytics
- Crash reports: Technical error information via Firebase Crashlytics to help us improve stability
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide AI-powered face and food scan analysis
- Track your progress and display scan history
- Personalize your experience based on your profile and goals
- Improve app performance and fix bugs
- Develop new features and enhance existing ones
3. Data Storage
Your data is primarily stored locally on your device using an on-device database. This means:
- Your scan results, profile data, and progress stay on your phone
- You maintain direct control over your data
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data
4. Face Data Collection, Use, and Retention
What Face Data We Collect
The App collects standard photographs (selfies) of your face captured via your device's camera or selected from your photo library. We do not collect biometric identifiers, face geometry, depth maps, facial recognition templates, or any other biometric data. The photograph is a standard JPEG image — no facial mapping or biometric extraction is performed at any point.
How We Use Face Data
Face photographs are used solely for AI-powered visual analysis of facial bloating indicators. The AI evaluates the following visual attributes from the photo:
- Water retention
- Jawline sharpness
- Cheek structure
- Facial definition
- Facial symmetry
- Under-eye area
The AI returns a numerical score (0–100) for each indicator along with a text-based analysis. These results are used to help you track facial bloating changes over time. Face data is never used for facial recognition, identity verification, or any purpose other than bloating analysis.
Third-Party Sharing of Face Data
To perform the AI analysis, your face photo is transmitted (as a base64-encoded image over HTTPS) to our Cloudflare Worker, which acts as a stateless proxy. The Cloudflare Worker immediately forwards the image to the OpenAI API (gpt-4o-mini) for analysis. The Cloudflare Worker is fully stateless — it does not log, cache, or store your image in any way. Once OpenAI returns the analysis results, the image is discarded. OpenAI processes API data in accordance with their Privacy Policy and does not use API inputs for model training. No other third parties receive your face data.
Face Data Retention and Storage
Face photographs and their analysis results are stored exclusively on your device in a local on-device database (Hive). No face data is stored on our servers or any cloud service. Specifically:
- Face photos are saved in the app's local documents directory on your device
- Analysis results (scores and text) are saved in an on-device database
- Our server (Cloudflare Worker) is stateless and retains no image data whatsoever
- You can delete individual face scans (both the photo and analysis) at any time from within the App
- Uninstalling the App removes all face data from your device
5. Food Scan Image Analysis
When you perform a food scan, your food photo is processed using the same secure pipeline described above (Cloudflare Worker proxy to OpenAI). Food photos follow the same data handling practices: processed in real-time, not stored on our servers, and results saved locally on your device.
6. Device Permissions
The App requests the following permissions:
- Camera: Required to capture selfies for face scans and photos for food scans
- Photo Library: Required to select existing images for analysis
- Microphone: Used for video recording capabilities
These permissions are only used for the stated purposes and can be revoked at any time through your device settings.
7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may collect data according to their own privacy policies:
- Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (Google): For app analytics and crash reporting. Firebase Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat: For managing in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
- OpenAI: For AI-powered image analysis via a secure proxy. OpenAI Privacy Policy
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with third-party services as described above, which is necessary to provide the App's core functionality.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:
- Local-first data storage on your device
- Secure HTTPS connections for all server communication
- No permanent storage of photos on our servers
10. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can promptly remove it.
11. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Delete your local data by uninstalling the App
- Revoke camera and photo library permissions through your device settings
- Opt out of analytics by disabling analytics in your device settings
- Request information about the data we process about you
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
